Fluidgrids orchestration for managed RAG — 2026-10-08
Fluidgrids orchestrates BotManor RAG operations; it does not become the owner of course content, vector metadata, provider credentials or learner authorization.
Implemented workflow contract
AssistantWorkflowInstaller installs versioned, workspace/connection-specific managed
templates with assistantTemplate.protocolVersion: 2. Definitions use internal:api,
store/botmanor node version 1.0.0 and an end node. A node's persisted type/operation
contract is authoritative; do not infer its deployed language or Lambda image from an
old TypeScript checkout or rename a persisted node identifier casually.
| Template kind | BotManor operation |
|---|---|
| inference | executeAssistantTurn |
| recovery | reconcileAssistantTurnDeliveries |
| course-import | startCourseKnowledgeImport |
| course-import-recovery | reconcileCourseKnowledgeImports |
| knowledge-cleanup | reconcileKnowledgeVectorCleanup |
| artifact-cleanup | reconcileKnowledgeArtifactCleanup |
Inference passes a scoped grant, not raw prompts/credentials, through a private workflow run. The BotManor backend performs retrieval/model generation and durable receipt/history handling. Course import is admitted once and advanced in bounded recovery operations; long imports are not a single unlimited Lambda invocation. Sandbox time/resource limits still apply. Recovery and cleanup are idempotent service operations with persisted state. An accepted run handle is not the final answer or published course index.
Hosting and isolation
Fluidgrids, BotManor and Bigconsole use the same shell-mounted microfe-workflows
wrapper and SDK. Product MFEs use gateway operations and navigation for bindings.
Definitions are workspace/product scoped; human runs are additionally owner scoped.
Managed BotManor definitions keep their own namespace even when business context refers
to BuildMyIQ; runtime context is not permission to change workflow ownership.
Operational boundary
Shared hosting and 44 read-only production scope checks are verified. They did not execute RAG ingestion/inference or certify a node image, external vector backend, model permissions or a complete BuildMyIQ learner scenario. Four recurring BotManor verification jobs remain disabled at the user's request. Do not enable them during documentation work.
