Data Tables
Data Tables in the sidebar (/workflows/data-tables) holds small tables of your own data, kept in the workspace. The page is subtitled Use Data Tables as lightweight persistent storage for workflow state, lookups, and records shared across runs.
A data table suits values a workflow needs from one run to the next: a lookup list, a record of what has already been processed, a counter. It is not a replacement for a database you already run — for that, connect the database with a credential.
Create a table
-
Click New data table.
-
Enter a Name and, optionally, a Description.
-
Under Columns, add one row per column with Add column. Each column has:
Field Meaning Key The name workflows use for the column. Keys must be unique within the table. Label The heading shown in the table. Type STRING,NUMBER,BOOLEAN,DATEorJSON.Required A row cannot be saved without a value in this column. -
Click Save table.
Edit table changes the name, description and columns later; Delete table removes the table and its rows.
Work with rows
Pick a table in the Tables list (use Search to find it). The table shows its row and column counts.
- Add row opens a form with one field per column. Edit row on a row changes it.
- Select rows and delete them to remove them.
- Import CSV adds the rows of a CSV file; Export CSV downloads the table.
- Rows per page and Previous page / Next page move through a large table.
Tags
Tables can be tagged like workflows and runs. Once any table carries a tag, a Filter by tag list appears above the tables.
