Approvals
Approvals (/workflows/approvals) is the inbox for runs that are paused until someone decides. The page is subtitled Requests from your workflows waiting for a person, and AI Agent tool calls waiting for a decision.
A paused run continues as soon as its request is decided.
Waiting for a response
Workflows paused on a person — approve, decline or answer to let them continue.
A workflow asks a person with a Send and wait for response step. Each request in this list shows the run it belongs to, who it was sent to (named people, or any workspace member), the channel it went out on (in-app, email or Slack) and, when the step sets one, the time it waits until.
Open a request to give Your response: approve, decline, or fill in the answer the step asks for. A request sent by email or Slack can also be answered from the link in that message. Once answered, the run continues; a declined request shows Declined with the time.
You see the requests addressed to you, the in-app requests open to the whole workspace, and the requests on runs you can already open. Long lists are paged with Previous / Next.
AI Agent tool calls
When an AI Agent step is set to ask before it uses a tool, its run pauses with the proposed tool call. The card shows the Node, the tool and its arguments, and when it was Requested.
- Approve lets the agent make the call and the run continues.
- Reject asks for an optional Reason; the call is not made and the run continues.
